Liontown Resources Starts Underground Production at Western Australia Operations; Shares Fall 3%

Liontown Resources (ASX:LTR) started underground production stoping at the Mt Mann orebody within the Kathleen Valley lithium operation in Western Australia, with the first blast fired on schedule, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The first firing resulted in roughly 1,500 tonnes of ore extraction, equivalent to about two days of plant production, the filing said.

Shares fell 3% in midday trade Wednesday.
