0117 GMT - The dollar could rise to 149.00 yen in Thursday's trading, while continuing to maintain an uptrend as concerns over the impact of higher U.S. tariffs ease, says Sony Financial Group analyst Juntaro Morimoto. The pair is trading at around 146.90. However, "if any negative cues emerge, risk aversion may intensify again," he says. Markets remain nervous as there are still reciprocal tariffs of 10%, and President Trump has said he would impose a 125% tariff on China for retaliating against the U.S. (megumi.fujikawa@wsj.com)
