Argentina and IMF Reach Deal for $20 Billion Financing Program -- WSJ

The International Monetary Fund said Tuesday that it reached a deal with Argentina to provide a new multibillion-dollar financing program that will help the South American nation's free-market overhaul.

The IMF said in a statement that it reached a staff-level agreement with Argentina for an extended fund facility totaling $20 billion. The program is subject to approval by the IMF's executive board.
