Cannabis company SNDL has agreed to acquire 32 cannabis retail stores from 1CM for 32.2 million Canadian dollars ($22.6 million).
The majority of the stores are located in the Canadian province of Ontario, with two stores in Alberta and three stores in Saskatchewan, said Toronto-based SNDL and Edmonton, Alberta-based 1CM on Wednesday. Together the locations generated an aggregate of C$53 million in the fiscal year ended Aug. 31, the companies said.
The addition of the new stores brings SNDL's owned and franchised cannabis retail-store count to 219.
