** Co curtails ~8 mln cubic feet per day (MMcf/d) of U.S. natural gas production, 500 barrels per day of U.S. natural gas liquids in Q1 in response to weak prices
** APA curtailed natgas output in four preceding qtrs. but had not contemplated any Q1 curtailments in its forecast shared in February
** Energy firms were also being pressured by falling oil prices as China announced additional tariffs on U.S. goods, retaliating against President Donald Trump's reciprocal tariffs which came into effect on Wednesday
** As of last close, shares were down 39.24% YTD
