Meta Platforms' (META) former executive Sarah Wynn-Williams is set to testify before Congress, claiming that the company undermined US national security while fostering ties with China, media outlets reported Wednesday.

Wynn-Williams, who previously served as director of global public policy at Facebook, will address the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime and Counterterrorism, alleging that Meta played a role in helping China advance in the artificial intelligence arms race, the news outlets reported.

Meta did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
