Endeavour Silver (EXK) reported Wednesday Q1 silver equivalent production of 1.9 million ounces, down 18% from a year ago.
Consolidated silver production was around 1.2 million ounces, down 17% from a year earlier. The company attributed the decrease to 24% lower production from its Guanacevi mine in northern Mexico, partially offset by 53% higher production at its Bolanitos mine in central Mexico.
Consolidated gold production was 8,338 ounces, down 18% from a year ago, due to lower production at both mines, the company said.
Endeavour said it sold around 1.2 million silver ounces for Q1, down 30% from a year ago, and around 8,500 gold ounces, down 22% year over year.
