Aluminum Corp. of China or Chalco's (HKG:2600, SHA:601600) controlling shareholder, Aluminum Corporation of China or Chinalco, increased its stake in the company on Wednesday, a same-day filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.
Chinalco acquired 15,279,815 A shares for around 95 million yuan and 9,624,000 H shares for HK$37 million for a combined total of about 130 million yuan, the company said.
Following the purchase, Chinalco's stake in Chalco increased to 32.57% from 32.43%.
