Wildcat Resources (ASX:WC8) said it continued to advance its Tabba Tabba lithium project in Western Australia, and definitive feasibility study test work is underway, including the scaled-up whole of ore flotation test work, ore sorting, and vendor test work, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
Phase two preliminary feasibility study whole of ore flotation test work at the project delivered results consistent with phase one metallurgical testing, with spodumene concentrate at 5.60% grade of lithium oxide produced from 1.01% grade of lithium oxide composite ore feed, with an overall recovery of 84.5%.
It appointed engineering firm NewPro to complete a pre-feasibility study process plant engineering at the project, per the filing.
It is progressing with drill planning at its Bolt Cutter project in Western Australia to test a lithium anomaly. The firm also said that permitting was in progress for diamond drilling at the Mt. Adrah gold project in New South Wales.
Its shares jumped 7% in early trading on Thursday.
