The ask
A penthouse asking $21 million is the most expensive home for sale in Denver If the condo sells at or near its asking price, it will set a home-sale record for the city.
The sellers
Denver natives Debbie and Jimmy Lustig purchased the unit in 2007 for just over $4 million, according to property records. Jimmy's family members were among the owners of Denver's Vectra Bank, which was acquired by Zion Bancorporation in the 1990s. He now runs the family office. Today, the Lustigs live in California and are rarely able to visit their penthouse.

How's the market?
Earlier this year, a roughly 12,400-square-foot house in Denver sold for $15 million, according to listing agent Casey Karsh Perry of Compass. The home-sale record in the city was set by a roughly 9,500-square-foot home that sold for $17.7 million in 2022. The most expensive home sale on record in the Denver metro area is NFL player Russell Wilson's 2022 purchase of a home in Cherry Hills Village for $25 million.
