Gold Road Resources (ASX:GOR) clarified the details of the competent persons involved in preparing its most recent mineral resource and ore reserve estimates for its Gruyere project in Western Australia that was published in a Tuesday disclosure, according to an Australian bourse filing on Wednesday.
The mining company said only the consent of John Donaldson for the said information was obtained. The consent of the other competent persons, namely Sawan Prehar and Richard Tully, was not secured before the restatement of the existing Gruyere mineral resource and ore reserve estimates, the filing stated.
Gold Road also retracted information related to estimates of its mineral resource exclusive of the ore reserve at Gruyere, as well as other key assumptions.
The company's shares were down 2% in recent trade.
