RCI Hospitality (RICK) said Tuesday that its fiscal Q2 club and restaurant sales declined by 8.9% year over year to $65.4 million, while same-store sales fell by 4.7%.
The company said the fiscal Q2 period ended March 31 saw a 35.6% drop in Bombshells sales to $8.2 million, mainly due to the divestiture and closing of five locations over the previous two quarters.
Nightclub sales declined 3.1% year over year to $57.1 million, reflecting the lower same-store sales, according to the company.
Shares of RCI Hospitality were down more than 5% in early Tuesday trading.
