AAR (AIR) formed a joint venture with KIRA Aviation Services, and the companies were recently awarded a US Navy contract to provide E-6B Mercury pilot training.
The venture called KALS will deliver in-flight training for naval aviators in Oklahoma City through March 2027 under a fixed-price and indefinite-delivery/indefinity-quantity contract, AAR said Monday in a statement.
KIRA Aviation is a Tlingit Haida Tribal Business subsidiary.
