CPI Aerostructures (CVU) said Monday it completed the production and delivery of an airborne laser mine detection system pod structure for Northrop Grumman (NOC).
The product supports a Northrop Grumman contract with Korea Aerospace Industries to provide technical assistance to the engineering, manufacturing, and design phase of South Korea's Mine Countermeasures Helicopter program, expected to be completed in 2027, CPI said.
The company added that there is the potential for a follow-on order for the low-rate production of eight pods worth around $3 million.
