April 1 - (The Insurer) - AIG has bolstered its senior marine ranks with the hires of David Brooks from Markel and Igor Imbuzeiro from HDI Global.
Having moved to AIG, Brooks has been appointed head of inland marine North America.
He brings almost two decades of industry experience to AIG, the bulk of which has been focused on the inland marine market.
The Los Angeles, California-based Brooks has joined AIG having spent over four years at Markel as director, property and inland marine.
His career also includes time spent at Argo, QBE North America, Zurich North America, CNA and Fireman’s Fund.
Imbuzeiro, who is based in Chicago, Illinois, has joined AIG as a cargo underwriting manager for North America.
He has more than a decade’s worth of industry experience, and has moved to AIG from HDI Global where he most recently served as marine team lead.
Alongside HDI Global, Imbuzeiro’s career includes stints at Marsh and Oceanic Surplus Insurance Brokers.
