Valens VA7000 Chipsets Selected for Mobileye's Automated, Autonomous Driving Projects

Valens Semiconductor (VLN) said Wednesday that its VA7000 MIPI A-PHY-compliant chipsets will form the in-car sensor to compute connectivity infrastructure for Mobileye (MBLY)'s EyeQ 6 High automated and autonomous production programs.

Mobileye selected the VA7000 for this application after extensive testing of the chipset, the company said.

Valens Semiconductor shares were more than 7% higher in premarket trading.
