Howden launches automated follow facility

By Michael Jones

April 2 - (The Insurer) - Howden has launched an automated follow-form facility, Howden Auto Tracker, led by QBE.

The facility offers up to 25% capacity across client portfolios and will have the ability to secure 100% digital capacity behind chosen lead markets by 2026, the broker said.

Howden said the facility will improve efficiency by providing certainty of automatic capacity within certain parameters, as well as connecting brokers and clients to carriers and enabling additional insurers to join the platform.

The facility will align tracker capacity with connected algorithmic capacity and leverage Ki's digital follow technology and platform.

The launch follows the recent expansion of Marsh's Fast Track facility, McGill and Partners' Auton and Amwins International Underwriting's Amplify.
