BlackBerry Tariff Risks Fall Mostly on Customers -- Market Talk

0848 ET - BlackBerry says that it can partially mitigate the effects of US tariffs, but that its customers may not be as lucky. On an analyst call, executives say that automotive tariffs won't affect the business directly, but that it will affect its customers in the industry, along the supply chain. BlackBerry says that it can mitigate to some extent to US-specific tariff effects because 50% of its revenue from the embedded-systems-software unit QNX comes from outside of the US. Revenue from the unit is expected at $250 million to $270 million. (adriano.marchese@wsj.com)
