0724 GMT - The White House could announce the outline of a deal as the deadline for TikTok to find a non-Chinese buyer approaches this week, Wedbush analysts say in a research note. Wedbush views TikTok "as one of the biggest and first chips on the poker table around US/China relations." With tariff announcements slated for Wednesday, the TikTok situation must be carefully handled by the Trump administration to keep a friendly U.S.-China tone heading into a potential meeting likely in June, they say. The analysts think Oracle may be the potential buyer as it is already TikTok's primary cloud provider. TikTok's algorithm will likely be kept under ByteDance but Oracle will be a linchpin to safeguarding U.S. consumer data on TikTok, Wedbush adds. (sherry.qin@wsj.com)
