Cochlear (ASX:COH) said it expects further detail regarding the introduction of a 10% tariff on exports from Australia to the US in the US Customs and Border Protection Notice of Implementation, due to be published next week, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The firm imports its products under a chapter of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States, providing duty-free importation on a range of products into the US, including hearing implants.
Its shares fell over 1% in early trading on Thursday.
