Equity Bancshares (EQBK) said late Wednesday it has agreed to a merger with NBC Corp. of Oklahoma to expand its presence in the state.
The merger is expected to be about 13% accretive to Equity Bancshares' earnings per share in 2026 and to add seven locations to its Equity Bank unit's current network.
Under the agreement, NBC will receive about 80% of the consideration in Equity Bancshares' stock.
The deal, which has received approvals from the boards of both companies, is expected to close in Q3, subject to regulatory approvals and closing conditions, Equity Bancshares said.
