DigitalBridge Group (DBRG) and Phoenix Tower International have shown preliminary interest in Cellnex Telecom's majority stake in its Swiss business, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing people with knowledge of the matter.

EQT, SBA Communications (SBAC) and Stonepeak have also been invited, and first-round bids are anticipated by early May, the report said.

Cellnex is working with JPMorgan Chase (JPM) and Societe Generale on the potential sale, which may fetch up to 2 billion euros ($2.16 billion), the report said.

Prospective suitors may decide not to go ahead with bids, the report said.

Cellnex, DigitalBridge, EQT, JPMorgan, Societe Generale and Stonepeak declined to comment, and SBA and Phoenix didn't respond to requests for comment, Bloomberg reported.

Stonepeak declined to comment, and the other companies didn't immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
