GPT Infraprojects (NSE:GPTINFRA, BOM:533761) has secured an order worth 4.81 billion Indian rupees from CAO Construction, South Eastern Railway, Kolkata, India, according to a Wednesday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.
The contract is for the construction of a bridge over the river Rupnarayan on the Howrah-Kharagpur route in the Kharagpur division of South Eastern Railway in engineering, procurement, and construction mode.
Shares of the company surged over 7% in recent trade.
