Mayur Resources (ASX:MRL) said the second stage of wharf construction is underway at the Central Lime project in Papua New Guinea, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The installation of the roll-on/roll-off ramp and finger wharf is expected to be completed in the second quarter of the year, the filing said.
The operability study for wharf stage three was finalized, with the concept design completion anticipated this month, per the filing.
Additionally, construction is underway for a fuel storage area, site access, and community infrastructure, according to the filing.
Shares fell 2% in afternoon trade Wednesday.
