U.S. Bancorp's vice chair and chief administration officer, Terrance Dolan, is believed to have died in a plane crash in Minnesota on Saturday.

U.S. Bancorp on Monday said Dolan is believed to have been on a small plane that crashed into a home in Brooklyn Park, and it said the plane was registered to him.

The company noted that the medical examiner's office hasn't confirmed that Dolan was on board.

Dolan, who joined U.S. Bancorp in 1998, became the Minneapolis company's chief administration officer in 2023 after serving as chief financial officer from 2016.

Dolan earned a salary of $815,000 and total compensation of $8.69 million last year.
