Yangzijiang Financial Holding (SGX:YF8) intends to introduce a scrip dividend scheme allowing shareholders to receive new shares instead of cash dividends, subject to regulatory approvals, according to a Friday filing on the Singapore Exchange.
The company said the move would give investors the option to reinvest without brokerage fees while helping retain cash for growth.
Shareholders outside Singapore may face restrictions, and those eligible could receive odd lots.
