S2 Resources (ASX:S2R) started an air core drilling program to test dipole-induced polarization anomalies, considered gold targets, at its Fosterville project in Victoria, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The program is expected to take two to three weeks to complete, and assays will be expected in the following three to four weeks thereafter.
After the completion of the program, the firm's team will move to the Glenlogan copper-gold project in New South Wales, where the firm is earning up to an 80% interest from Legacy Minerals (ASX:LGM).
S2 Resources' shares fell almost 6% in recent trading on Monday, while Legacy Minerals surged 21%.
