Postal Savings Bank of China (HKG:1658, SHA:601658) reported a 0.24% increase in profit attributable to equity holders for 2024 to 86.48 billion yuan from 86.27 billion yuan a year earlier, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
Earnings per share were down to 0.81 yuan from 0.83 yuan a year ago. Analysts polled by Visible Alpha estimated EPS at 0.83 yuan.
Operating income increased by 1.81% to 349.13 billion yuan from 342.91 billion yuan the prior year. Analysts polled by Visible Alpha estimated revenue at 345.46 billion yuan.
Net interest income increased to 286.12 billion yuan from 281.8 billion yuan a year ago.
The company proposed a final cash dividend of 0.1139 yuan per share.
Shanghai shares of the company declined nearly 3% in morning trade Friday.
