Macquarie Group (ASX:MQG) subsidiary Macquarie Asset Management's 50% owned aircraft leasing unit Macquarie AirFinance Holdings, has priced an AU$650 million aggregate principal amount of 5.2% senior notes due 2028 in a private offering, according to a Tuesday statement by the company.
The notes, which will be issued on 27 March, are solely obligations of Macquarie AirFinance Holdings and will not be guaranteed by any of its units, the statement said.
The offering is subject to customary closing conditions, the statement added.
The net proceeds from the sale of the notes are intended to be used for general corporate purposes and to repay debt.
