Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com's (HKG:9618) subsidiary JD Logistics (HKG:2618) opened a 10,000-square-foot operation center in Hong Kong, its fifth in total, to meet its growing logistical needs, The Standard reported Tuesday.
The center, equipped with automated sorting capabilities, will operate at double the efficiency. The company also has two warehouses in Japan, The Standard said.
Additionally, JD is introducing refund policies, including compensation if you get a lower price elsewhere and service and return of defective products, the publication said.
