Nexgen Energy (ASX:NXG) said drilling intersected a broad zone of mineralization at its Rook I property in Canada, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
Drilling yielded a 3.9-meter zone with uranium concentrations exceeding 61,000 counts per second (cps), within a broader 13.8-meter mineralized interval starting at 452.2 meters depth, the filing said.
The high-grade zone, remains open in all directions, including 300 meters up-dip, the filing added.
Further drilling confirmed the expansion of the high-grade subdomain to 210 meters along strike and 335 meters vertically, doubling the size since the last update in November 2024, the company said.
