0910 ET - ViaSat has multiple paths to create equity value despite broader pressure, says Deutsche Bank's Edison Yu in a research note. The satellite-communications company can materially deleverage its balance sheet through asset monetization, including its L-band spectrum, defense and advanced technologies and indirectly through the successful deployment of two major satellites, says the analyst. "From a timing perspective, this may take 12-18 months to fully play out, but we see the risk/reward profile at current levels being increasingly compelling, " says Yu. The analyst notes that there are still concerns about ViaSat's core communication services business longer-term in the context of pressure from Elon Musk's Starlink. Deutsche Bank upgrades ViaSat to buy from hold. ViaSat is up 3.5% premarket. (denny.jacob@wsj.com; @pennedbyden)
