Biogen (BIIB) said Monday it has signed a 15-year lease for its new global headquarters at Kendall Common in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
The company said it intends to shift its Cambridge-based employees to the new facility when it opens in 2028.
Biogen said it will integrate its research and development and technical operations teams alongside its global and North American commercial organizations into a co-located innovation hub, adding that the lease deal is with a new joint venture collaboration between MIT Investment Management and Blackstone (BX) Real Estate portfolio company BioMed Realty, which is constructing the new building.
