Paladin Energy Suspends Operations at Namibia Mine; Shares Fall 7%

Paladin Energy (ASX:PDN) has suspended operations at its Langer Heinrich uranium mine in Namibia due to unseasonal heavy rains, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

The severe weather has affected access to the mine, forcing Paladin to halt all operations, the filing said.

the mining firm will assess the full impact on production once conditions stabilize, the filing added.

Shares of the company fell 7% in recent Friday trade.
