Asiatic Group (Holdings) (SGX:5CR) said a Malaysian court dismissed the legal suit filed by Guan Heng Construction after no party filed an appeal within the 30-day window, according to a Friday filing on the Singapore Exchange.

Guan Heng Construction had sued Colben Energy Holdings (Maju Intan), an Asiatic subsidiary, in March 2020 to recover SG$1.1 million for civil and construction works.

Colben Energy responded with a counterclaim.

On Jan. 22, the High Court of Ipoh, Malaysia, dismissed both the claim and the counterclaim, ordering each party to bear costs of 30,000 ringgit. The court's decision became final after no appeals were filed.
