Koonenberry Gold (ASX:KNB) intersected visible gold in the third and fourth drill holes of its first diamond drilling program at the Enmore gold project in New South Wales, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
Visible gold was observed in multiple zones, from 252.35 meters to 264.96 meters, 146.1 meters to 160.05 meters, 184.91 meters to 184.92 meters, and 223.86 meters to 237.84 meters.
Heavy rains associated with the former Tropical Cyclone Alfred paused the firm's drilling program of around 8 to 10 holes for around 3,000 meters for up to one week, with only 1,355.9 meters completed to date.
Initial drill results are slated for early April.
Its shares rose 7% on market close on Friday.
