China Oriental Group (HKG:0581) expects a net profit of at least 200 million yuan for the year 2024, compared with a net loss of 196 million yuan a year prior, a Tuesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.
The iron ore and steel products company attributed the anticipated turnaround to profit mainly to a substantial increase in gross profit amid a decrease in the cost of production.
