Euro Manganese (ASX:EMN) said that the manganese deposit at its Chvaletice project was declared a strategic deposit by the Czech government, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The designation expedites and enhances the predictability of the permitting process, per the filing. It also streamlines coordination between various authorities and such deposits may qualify for special legislative procedures similar to those for key infrastructure projects.
The company secured the determination of the mining lease permit in January.
Euro Manganese's shares rose almost 3% in recent trading on Thursday.
