Prudential's (HKG:2378, SGX:K6S) attributable profit rose 34% to $2.29 billion in 2024 from $1.70 billion in 2023, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
Earnings per share at the insurer increased to $0.84 from $0.619 a year earlier. Analysts at Visible Alpha estimated EPS at $0.85.
Insurance revenue jumped to $10.39 billion from $9.37 billion in 2023.
The company declared a second interim dividend of $0.1629 per share, payable May 14 to shareholders on record as of March 28.
