1857 ET - Allbirds's international business is now set up for profitable, scalable growth, CEO Joe Vernachio says on a call with a analysts. The sustainable shoe and apparel maker successfully transitioned to a distributor model in all its targeted international regions while expanding into new markets, and had its highest mix of international distributor sales to date in the latest quarter, the executive says. "We believe the work done to strengthen our operating model over the past two years and the plans we're actioning around product marketing and experience have us on a path to long term profitable growth," Vernachio says.
