1030 ET - Cracker Barrel Old Country Store is already showing progress in the early stages of its turnaround, Truist analysts Jake Bartlett and Larson Rice say in a research note. Solid results in the last two quarters haven't been reflected in the stock's valuation, they say. Cracker Barrel has innovated its menu and improved service levels in a way that has allowed them to raise prices while improving traffic, customer satisfaction scores and margins, the analysts say. The gains have all come ahead of a remodel program that should provide another boost, they say. The analysts upgrade the stock to a buy from hold. Shares rise 7.2%.(dean.seal@wsj.com)
