Alphabet's (GOOG) Google is in talks with Snowflake (SNOW) about making its Gemini models available securely for customers to build artificial-intelligence applications, like those that create ads or automate processing insurance claims, The Information reported Tuesday, citing a Snowflake employee.
Meanwhile, executives from Snowflake's top rival, Databricks, recently talked with Anthropic about a similar agreement, according to the report, which cited a Databricks manager involved int he disucssions.
Alphabet, Snowflake, Databricks and Anthropic did not immediately reply to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
