Sun Silver (ASX:SS1) confirmed widespread antimony mineralization at its Maverick Springs silver-gold project in Nevada and expects future studies to confirm additional antimony presence, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
It is progressing talks with Holland and Knight, together with the US Department of Defense and other federal agencies, regarding potential future partnerships.
It is re-evaluating historical cores to quantify antimony distribution for future mineral resource updates. Antimony mineralization was confirmed in all five historical drill holes in the project.
The firm's shares rose 4% in recent trading on Wednesday.
