WPP said it was investing an undisclosed sum in Stability AI, partnering with the U.K.-based artificial intelligence company to leverage its models across image, video, 3D, and audio to improve marketing and advertising campaigns.

The London-based advertising group said the partnership would make it easier to deliver AI-generated content to clients at a time of growing consumer expectations for visual content. Stability AI in August 2022 released Stable Diffusion, an image-generation platform.

"The advertising landscape is evolving quickly, and AI is at the heart of that evolution," WPP Chief Executive Mark Read said in a statement.
