Winking Studios said its artifical-intelligence project with Acer Inc. is moving to the next stage of development.
The company, which provides game development services and art outsourcing, is working on a three-dimensional animation AI generation software with the Taiwanese electronics company.
The companies will now refine and enhance the technology to bolster AI applications within game development, building on GenMotion.AI core technology developed so far during their collaboration.
Winking Studios said that as part of the latest agreement, Acer will have invested around $1.5 million in the software.
Winking Studios' subsidiaries will be working with Acer until the end of August, it said.
