SoundThinking (SSTI) said Tuesday that it has signed a $1.7 million three-year agreement to supply its acoustic gunshot detection ShotSpotter to the city of Niteroi, Brazil.
The company said the ShotSpotter deployment will be integrated with Niteroi's security infrastructure and will cover 10 square kilometers (6.2 miles) in the city, which is just outside the city of Rio de Janeiro.
