Synovus Financial raised its quarterly dividend 2.6% to 39 cents per share.
The bank holding company on Monday said that its board of directors approved increasing its quarterly payout to shareholders to 39 cents a share from 38 cents a share previously.
The new payout, equal to $1.56 annually, represents a yield of 3.1%, based on the company's latest closing price of $50.69.
The dividend will be paid on April 1 to shareholders of record as of March 15.
