Green Plains (GPRE) shares were down more than 2% in recent trading Monday after President and CEO Todd Becker stepped down last week.
The company said Friday it has begun a search for a new CEO and formed an executive committee, which includes senior leaders from commercial, legal, operations and human resources, to lead the company during the transition period.
Green Plains also shared that Patrich Simpkins will transition from company chief transformation officer to CEO of its majority-owned unit Fluid Quip Technologies.
