Berkley launches Berkley Embedded Solutions, names Lloyd as president

March 3 - (The Insurer) - WR Berkley Corporation has launched Berkley Embedded Solutions, a new business focused on delivering tailored insurance products and services directly at the point of purchase, with Stephanie Lloyd appointed as president.

Lloyd joins Berkley with 20 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance business, most recently serving as CEO of LiveWell by Zurich, where she spent two years.

Before that, she served as the president of Toggle Insurance. Earlier in her career, Lloyd spent 15 years at Farmers Insurance, culminating in her position as head of new ventures.

“Stephanie is recognised as a pioneer in the embedded insurance market, having launched and scaled a successful embedded platform serving customers across several global consumer brands,” said Robert Berkley, president and CEO of WR Berkley.

“Berkley Embedded’s value proposition will be offering traditional insurance industry expertise while simultaneously meeting customers where they want to be met,” he added.
