Home BancShares board chairman Tracy French plans to retire.
The bank holding company on Friday said French doesn't intend to stand for reelection upon the completion of his current term on April 17.
French will serve as an adviser to senior management and the bank in an employee capacity for the next two years, receiving his current annual salary of $408,000.
French will no longer be eligible to receive an annual bonus or any existing deferred bonus, the company said.
